2022 World Korean Educators Conference held from Aug 9 (Tue) to 12 (Fri)

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) together with King Sejong Institute Foundation (President LEE Hae-young, KSIF) opened '2022 World Korean Educators Conference‘ from August 9 (Tue) to Aug 12 (Fri) at the JW Marriott Hotel, Seoul, to enhance the teaching competitiveness of Korean language instructor and educators and provide communication platform. Considering the Pandemic, the conference is held in a hybrid manner, both offline and online and real-time streaming service via the official website of the King Sejong Institute Foundation (https://www.youtube.com/user/LearnTeachKorean) will be provided.

MCST to support Korean streaming service contents to grow globally and provide foundation to grow together with K-Culture

Minister PARK Bo Gyoon of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) met online streaming service producers and Korean over-the-top (OTT) service leaders to discuss on improving the competitiveness of Korean contents (K-Content) and promised that the government will support the domestic online video streaming service industry with a well-structured policy for further advancing to the global market during the meeting in Seoul on August 3.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) and the Korea Creative Content Agency (President JO Hyun-rae, KOCCA) will unveil the new series of Age of Light (Gwanghwa Sidae), including two pieces of Gwanghwa Byeokhwa (Mural) and five pieces of Gwanghwa Won (Media Art garden) on August 5 (Fri). Gwanghwa Sidae was designed to show various immersive contents that combine attractive cultural resources with realistic technology around the Gwanghwamun area (Seoul) and provide new experiences to people.
