"K-EXPO VIETNAM 2022"starts from Oct 15 to promote and advance into the overseas market

The "K-EXPO", jointly held for the first time this year, was designed in relation to Hallyu contents and related industries to expand overseas sales channels and spread the charm of Korean culture, considering the fact that even Hallyu related industries had big ripple effects on consumer goods, SMEs had difficulty advancing into the overseas market because of difficulty in accessing information and limited budget. MCST, taking the initiative, developed this project into a pan-government collaboration project after discussing with the Hallyu Cooperation Committee[1].

Korea's Immersive Content Creates Waves in Mexico

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) together with the Korea Creative Content Agency (President JO Hyun-rae, KOCCA) will be hosting the “KOREA: Cubically Imagined” exhibition on Korean (Hallyu) content and Korean cultural heritage realizing with immersive technology from October 12 (local time) through October 30 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

MCST Holds Events at Home and Abroad in Celebration of Hangeul Week 2022

To celebrate Hangeul Week 2022 (October 4—10), which marks the 576th Hangeul Day, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister PARK Bo Gyoon, MCST) announced the list of Sejong Culture Award winners and people credited with helping to further develop Hangeul. A total of 13 people will be awarded by the government, including one Hwagwan Order of Culture Merit, one Culture Merit Medal, seven Presidential Citations, and four Prime Minister’s Citations.
