Fifteen Key Countries to Seek Global Copyright Enforcement Strategy in Digital Environment

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), the World Intellectual Property Organization (Director General Daran Tang, WIPO), and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam (Minister Nguyen Van Hung, MCST VN) are to co-host the International Symposium on Copyright Enforcement from 17 to 21 June in Hanoi, Vietnam, which will be in cooperation with the Korea Copyright Protection Agency (President PARK Jung-Youl, KCOPA) and the World Trade Organization (Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, WTO).

K-Book Meets European Readers in Celebration of the Paris 2024

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST) in collaboration with the Publication Industry Promotion Agency of Korea (President KIM Jun Hee) will host various K-Book exhibitions and events. In particular, during the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, these initiatives aim to promote Korean books in the European market and lay the foundation for K-Book to enter the global market.

Eleven Outstanding Performances and Exhibitions, Organized by 17 Overseas Korean Cultural Centers, to Showcase K-Content

Starting in June, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST) launched the Overseas Korean Cultural Centers Tour Program Support Project (“Cultural Centers Tour Project”) to promote high-quality K-content abroad through 17 Korean Cultural Centers in 16 countries worldwide.

Enjoy This Summer in Donghae, the City of Mountains, Sea, and “Local 100” Experience

On June 7 (Fri), Minister YU In Chon of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) embarked on the sixth part of the “Local 100” campaign, titled “Go Local to See Local 100” (Go Local), joined by 40 individuals, including young MCST employees, Korea.net honorary reporters, and participants of the Local 100 Train Tour, in celebration of “June, the Travel Month.” They visited Mureung Byeolyucheonji, the designated “Local 100” destination in Donghae City, along with Mureung Valley, Dojjaebigol Sky Valley, Samhwasa Temple, and Dochabigol Sky Valley.
