The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), the Economic Crime Investigation Division under the Investigation Bureau of the National Office of Investigation, which is part of the Korean National Police Agency (Commissioner General CHO Ji Ho, KNPA); and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) jointly crack down on websites that violate copyright from August 19 (Mon) to the end of December.

MCST and MAFRA Promote Korean Vibes and Flavors Worldwide

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (Minister SONG Mi Ryung, MAFRA) started the K-Community Challenge on August 22 and runs until September 22, in partnership with the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (Acting President KIM Kyung Nam, KOFICE) and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (CEO HONG Moon Pyo, aT). The K-Community Challenge is a contest where participants from K-communities around the world pick one category – Joseon-pop, Sogo dance, Taekwonmu, and K-food – and submit their performance videos to win. Winners in each category will be invited to perform at the K-Community Festival in Korea this November.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister YU In Chon, MCST), in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization (Acting President SEO Young Chung), the Korea Hotel Association, the Visit Korea Committee, and other tourism-related organizations and institutions will run the 2024 Tourism Job Fair both online and on-site until September 13. The online sessions of the Fair is held at its official website (www.tourjobfair.com) from August 19 to September 13, while the offline sessions of the Fair will take place at the aT Center in Seoul on September 10 and 11.
