A Fair for Various Local Contents Industries in Korea

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister HWANG Hee, MCST) hosts and the Korea Creative Content Agency (President CHO Hyun-rae, KOCCA) organizes the 2021 NEXT CONTENT FAIR from November 11 through 13 in BEXCO, Busan. This event is sponsored by Busan Metropolitan City. Marking the 4th year of this event, the exhibition is held in hybrid event considering the COVID-19. The fair will give visitors chances to explore best creative contents in Korea and to discover the future of Korea’s creative content industry. The local content exhibition is held both online and on-site, where there are many opportunities and events to attract viewers and participants. In the fair, there will be a total of 154 enterprises and 249 booths displaying the representative regional contents.

The 1st 2021 Korea Wellness Tourism Festa held in Gangwon

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister HWANG Hee, MCST) and the Korea Tourism Organization (President AHN YoungBae, KTO) host the 1st Korea Wellness Tourism Festa from November 6 (Sat) through 28 (Sun). The newly launched festival will provide opportunities for people to heal and revitalize through wellness tourism during the long suffering COVID-19 pandemic. The slogan of the event this year is “Healing and Travelling”.

“Busan Contents Market 2021” Hybrid event to be held

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister HWANG Hee, MCST), Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor PARK Heong-joon, Busan), and the Busan Contents Market Organizing Committee (President HWANG Eui-wan, BCM) host “Busan Contents Market 2021” from November 3 to 12 at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) Convention Hall and via official website (www.ibcm.tv). The offline event will be organized from November 10 (Wed) to November 12 (Fri) and online market will be held from November 3 (Wed) to November 12 (Fri).

2021 OECD Global Forum on Tourism Statistics, Knowledge and Policies

Commemorating the 25th year of Korea joining the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister HWANG Hee, MCST) and the Korea Tourism Organization (President AHN YoungBae, KTO) will host the 2021 OECD Global Forum on Tourism Statistics, Knowledge and Policies at Grand Ball Room at the Shilla Hotels & Resorts from November 3 to 5 to discuss on the sustainable tourism industry after long suffering from the COVID-19.

The 2021 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards Youn Yuh-jung received the Highest Order of Merit The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Minister HWANG Hee, MCST) hosted the 2021 Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards in collaboration with the Korea Creative Content Agency (President JO Hyun-rae, KOCCA) on Thursday October 28. The ceremony was livestreamed via The K-Pop Youtube Channel (The K-POP) and KOCCA official Youtube channel for online audience. Actress Youn Yuh-Jung received Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards ‘Highest Order of Merit’ (Geumgwan).
