전시소개

김태희의 작업은 바람처럼 스쳐가는 인간의 감정과 내면의 떨림을 반복과 색채, 기하학적 구성을 통해 시각화한다. 억새밭 사이를 흔들며 지나가는 바람처럼, 색채와 반복된 형태는 조용히 감정을 건드린다.

각기 다른 색과 리듬은 삶의 다양성과 감정의 파동을 품고 있다. 그의 이런 반복의 회화는 단순한 장식이 아니라, 자연과 인간 내면의 교차점을 찾는 시적 행위이다.

김태희 작가는 전통 단색화의 조형성과 현대적인 감성을 결합해 독자적인 회화 세계를 구축하고 있으며, 전주현대미술관, 서울미술관, LA 웨스턴 갤러리 등에서 초대전을 열었다. 2015년 크로아티아 현대미술 초대전에서 최우수 작가상을 수상했다. 이번 전시는 바람 시리즈 및 섹슈얼 시리즈 20여 점이 A, B 관에서 전시될 예정이다.

Kim Tae-hee's work visualizes human emotions and inner tremors, fleeting like the wind, through repetition, color, and geometric composition. Like the wind swaying through a field of reeds, colors and repeated forms quietly stir emotions.

Different colors and rhythms embody the diversity of life and the ripples of emotion. Her paintings of repetition are not mere decoration; they are poetic acts that seek the intersection between nature and the human mind.

Artist Kim Tae-hee combines the formality of traditional monochrome painting with a modern sensibility to create a unique artistic world. She has held invitational exhibitions at venues such as the Jeonju Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the Seoul Museum of Art, and the Weston Gallery in Los Angeles. In 2015, she won the Grand Prize at the Croatian Contemporary Art Invitational. This exhibition will feature approximately 25 works from her Wind series and Sexual series, which will be displayed in Halls A and B.
