Seoul Copyright Forum 2020 explores Future of Copyright in a non-face-to-face era”

The Seoul Copyright Forum 2020, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST, Minister PARK Yang-woo) of the Republic of Korea and organized by the Korea Copyright Commission (KCC, Chairman LIM Wonsun), will take place on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. The forum will be held both online and offline (at JW Marriott Hotel Seoul), and most of the participants will attend the forum online in consideration of the limited on-site participation to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sharing the value of Culture and Arts with UNESCO and the World in the new normal The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea participated in the ResiliArt Debate organized by UNESCO on 21 October. Park Yang-woo, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, discussed the value of culture and arts and resilience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and supported the publication of Toolkit “Culture in Crisis: Policy guide for a resilient creative sector”.

The 2020 ASEAN-ROK Culture Innovation Summit was held virtually from 21 (Wed) to 22 (Thu) October at Gwangju, the hub city of Asian culture, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea and co-organized by Korean Foundation of International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE) and Asia Culture Center (ACC). The ACC is a symbolic venue that embodies the determination of ASEAN and Korea towards co-prosperity. It was also the venue for the Special AMCA Plus ROK Meeting last year.
