There, he attended beauty programs at the K-beauty product exhibition hall and the personal color experience hall alongside foreign influencers and watched the Imitate Idol Makeup Show. Furthermore, at 7:00 p.m., Minister YU attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Korea Beauty Festival, held in front of the King Sejong Statue at Gwanghwamun Square. Minister YU said, “In celebration of the 2024 Visit Korea Year, the Korea Beauty Festival was organized to encourage more foreigners to visit Korea and experience joyful travel, building upon the significant interest and popularity of K-beauty abroad. The Korea Beauty Festival is not a one-time event but will continuously showcase Korea’s exceptional and distinctive K-beauty, unveiling new dimensions of Korean tourism. I am committed to positioning it as a pivotal attraction to welcome the era of 20 million international tourists.”
